Last Friday was a day to remember for our Year 3 pupils as they took part in an enriching Roman Workshop at the Somerset County Museum.

The pupils eagerly tried on costumes, transforming into Roman soldiers and citizens. The experience was made even more fascinating by their hands-on exploration of authentic Roman artefacts discovered right here in Somerset.

The day was packed with excitement as students followed The Roman Way around the museum, uncovering the captivating history of the Romans in Somerset.

Through engaging activities and immersive learning, the pupils gained a deeper understanding of Roman life and their significant impact on the region.
