To recognise Braille Literacy Month, TPS pupils have been learning about the Braille alphabet and the importance of using our other senses. They then put their newfound skills to practice, writing their names in Braille!

We also had our first Sign Language session this month, where Year 5 and 6 pupils learnt how to spell their names and how to introduce themselves. Following this, pupils sang along to a fun song using Sign Language, and shared some of their favourite signs including guinea pig and whale.

We are delighted that our pupils have been so excited to learn these valuable, lifelong skills.
