The festive season at Taunton Pre-Prep & Nursery is always a truly special time, and this term has been filled with joy, creativity, and a wonderful sense of togetherness.

One of the standout moments was our much-loved Christmas Craft Day. Classrooms were alive with chatter and laughter as children designed sparkling decorations, colourful cards, and imaginative crafts. It’s always heartwarming to see our mixed-age groups working so well together, with older pupils guiding and encouraging their Reception friends. Their creations will no doubt bring extra sparkle to your homes this Christmas!

Our Nativity performances were another highlight, showcasing the children’s confidence and enthusiasm. Every child played their part beautifully, bringing the story to life with expressive acting and joyful singing – their dedication and teamwork really shone through. A huge thank you to families for supporting rehearsals and costumes – it truly makes these performances magical.

We also came together for our traditional Christingle Service in the chapel. The glow of candles and the sound of voices raised in song created a moment of peace and reflection, reminding us of the hope and light that Christmas brings. On top of this, pupils enjoyed the PTA Christmas Fair and meeting Santa Clause! 

Throughout the term, we’ve talked with the children about the importance of giving the gift of time and presence. While presents are exciting, it’s those shared moments with loved ones that make the season truly meaningful.

From glittering crafts to heartfelt performances, this term has been one to treasure. Thank you for being part of our Pre-Prep family and for helping make these memories so special.
