Ben Pomeroy former pupil of both Taunton Prep School and Senior School came back to visit and give a talk about his job as a Podshaver (cricket bat manufacturer) for World Class Willow to a group of year 7 & 8 students. They were able to find out about the materials and how they were sourced, how the bats are shaped and handles fitted.The pupils then had a question and answer session with Ben which they found very informative.
