Year 1 pupils enjoyed a Dinosaur and Fossil workshop at the Museum of Somerset in Taunton.

The children were fascinated to learn about the job of a palaeontologist and were thrilled to take part in their own archaeological dig wearing hard hats and using special tools.

They explored prehistoric life in the Museum and carefully decorated their own ammonite.
