We have had a brilliant start to the Spring term in Pre-Prep & Nursery and the children have come back keen to continue their learning.

This term, our take up of after-school clubs has been fantastic, with a wide range of activities to inspire and engage our children. Whether it’s the discipline and focus of Aikido, the strategic challenge of tennis, or the fun-filled energy of Ball-Mania, the children have shown incredible enthusiasm. Swimming and gymnastics have continued to be hugely popular, with many of our children making noticeable progress and enjoying the sense of accomplishment that comes with improving their skills.

Our creative clubs have thrived too, with children unleashing their imaginations in pottery, cross stitch and Lego sessions. The woodland play club has provided an exciting opportunity for children to connect with nature and develop problem-solving and teamwork skills in the great outdoors. Meanwhile, small world and story club have captured our younger children’s imaginations and Pickleball has proven to be a hit with those looking to try something a little different. All of our clubs have seen growing numbers and have offered the children a chance to develop new skills, form friendships, and enjoy themselves.

We are also delighted to report the success of our newly qualified school dog mentor, Freddie. Freddie has quickly become a beloved member of the school community, bringing fun and comfort to both staff and children. As a dog mentor, Freddie’s role is to provide emotional support, offer companionship and create a calming presence for children as well as supporting academic progress by listening to children read. His gentle nature and friendly demeanor have made him an instant hit and we are thrilled to see how he has positively impacted the school environment.
