Exceptional Results at Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge 2024
Students have achieved some truly exceptional results at the Bebras Computational Thinking Challenge 2024, with Year 9 student Lucie achieving an incredible mark of 220/220 and becoming the joint top score in the whole country for her age group, and student Robbie being awarded the highest mark in Somerset for his age group with 209/220.
As well as Lucie, the following Year 9 students achieved a Gold Certificate ranking them in the top 10% of students in the country:

What is the UK Bebras Challenge?
The Bebras Challenge introduces computational thinking to students worldwide. This exciting challenge took place just after half term, with more than three million students from more than 80 countries participating.
The challenge is designed to encourage logical thinking and problem-solving skills. The tasks allow every student the opportunity to showcase their potential, whether they excel in maths or computing, or not.
