A Message from our Head of Pre-Prep & Nursery, Becky Lewis
A wonderful start to our new school year!
We’ve had an exciting start to the new school year at TPPS! With all our children and teachers back, it’s been amazing to see so many bright smiles and eager faces ready to learn and explore. This term has already been filled with hard work, and new adventures, and we can’t wait to share some of the exciting developments around our school.
One of the highlights this term has been the grand opening of our brand-new playground! Over the summer, our site team worked tirelessly to bring this exciting project to life, and the results are fantastic. The playground now includes a wonderful climbing frame, designed especially for our energetic children. It’s the perfect place for everyone to play, grow strong, and try out new challenges during break times and lunch. The climbing frame has quickly become a favourite spot, with children lining up to try their hand at climbing, swinging and balancing!
But that’s not all – we’re also delighted to introduce a new member of our TPPS family: Freddie, our new school dog mentor! Freddie is a gentle, friendly dog who, in time, will be spending time with the children, offering companionship and support. From helping us feel calm during busy times to joining us for reading sessions, Freddie will be making a big difference. The children are so excited to have him around, and we’re thrilled to have such a special friend to help us learn and grow.
As we look forward to the next half term, there’s even more excitement to come! The build-up to Christmas is always a magical time at TPPS, and we have lots of wonderful events planned for everyone. From festive crafts to our school Christmas play, the holiday spirit will be everywhere. Not only that, but we’ll continue offering super learning opportunities across all our classes. From science experiments to creative writing and team challenges, we’re making sure every child has the chance to shine.
Here’s to another fantastic term, full of fun, friendship, and fantastic learning!
