Taunton School’s Year 3 pupils had a blast at the Carymoor Environmental Centre last month, putting their prehistoric knowledge to the test in a hands-on Stone Age to Iron Age workshop.

The children had a chance to try out ancient tools, dress up, grind barley, explore a replica roundhouse, bake bread over a fire, and even build their own.

They also visited a ‘waste tunnel’ to see firsthand the impact of landfills on our planet, and learned about ways to be more eco-friendly.
