Taking place on Saturday 15th June, our Careers Symposium will offer a morning of inspiration for our Year 12 students.  We will be joined by some incredible speakers who will give engaging talks about their careers and how they got to where they are today, followed by an interactive Q&A session.

If you would like to find out more about speaking at this event please contact Clare Machell in the Careers Office clare.machell@tauntonschool.co.uk

Here are just some of the speakers we have lined up:

  • Luke Knight – BBC presenter & social media film maker.
  • Kaitlyn Kelly – Adoption Change Management Consultant with Valorem Reply.
  • Jennifer Hodbod – Environmental Social Scientist @ Leeds University.
  • Numatic – Early Careers Team “How quickly can you take apart a Henry Vacuum?” & Taunton School Alumni presentation.
  • Charlie Franks – Former head boy working in creative arts & entertainment industry.

Also joining us virtually are three illustrious OTs who all left Taunton in 1981, trained as accountants and became global successes. Faiz Azmi, Matthew Heywood, and Louis Wong will talk about their time at Taunton, the benefits of the accountancy qualification in their careers and the lessons they have learned, followed by a live virtual international Q&A session.

We hope to see you there!
