1847 Society Lunch
Last Saturday, we were delighted to welcome OTs and parents back to the school for our annual 1847 Society Lunch.
Guests were treated to a delicious lunch and enjoyed some beautiful music courtesy of some of our fantastic school musicians, Anthony and Freya. We also had the pleasure of hearing from our Chair of Governors, Henry Keeling, as he officially opened the newly named Michael Button Room. Michael (OT, 1949-1956), who was sadly unable to join us on the day, has and always will be a huge part of Taunton School. His roles have included School Governor, OTA President, and Chairman of the 1847 Society.
The annual 1847 Society Lunch provides an opportunity for us to thank all those in our community who have generously chosen to leave a gift to the school in their will. If you are interested in finding out more about the society or supporting the school, please contact jack.clark@tauntonschool.co.uk.
