Nine U14 netballers travelled to Peterborough for the National Schools Netball finals having been crowned Regional Champions earlier in the term.

The girls started the day well with a strong 18-3 win, they played fast-flowing netball and dominated throughout. Unfortunately, the next few games did not go their way losing against the overall winners 6-14 and the runners-up 5-20.

However, the girls picked themselves up (with the help of some fun activities from the parents) and went on to win all of their afternoon matches. This meant they narrowly missed out on going through to the cup semi-finals by just one point.

They placed 9th in the country by the end of competition, winning four matches and also losing four. The players of the tournament were Lily and Harper.
