Taunton School has launched a new music event. The first ‘Taunton Sessions’ took place in January and featured talented singer-songwriters, and musicians performing creative covers of their favourite songs.

Students from years 10 to 13 performed for the evening. Many of the performances were collaborations, with friends accompanying each other on the keyboard and guitar. Several new songs were written especially for the event, they were warmly received by the small audience in a relaxed atmosphere in the new Sixth Form Centre social area.

Congratulations to sixth formers Chris, Adrian, Darcy and Amelia for their leadership in the preparations for this event, and to all the performers for a wonderful evening of entertainment.
