Students Complete 24-Hour Rowathon
A huge well done to everyone involved in completing the 24-hour rowathon at the start of May!
We’re delighted to share that it was a resounding success, with students and staff coming together to cover just under 317km in a single day – over 60km more than planned.
Our student rowing crews did much of the work throughout the day and were joined by the Head, three Deputy Heads, and many other staff members overnight. They even benefitted from an Olympic rower dropping in to lend a pull or two!
The team was uplifted by so many supporters throughout the challenge who helped carry them through every shift. It was an incredible display of endurance, teamwork, and school spirit and we’re proud of the dedication and determination shown by each rower.
