We could not be more delighted that students Monty and Caspar have officially signed professional contracts with Bristol Bears! Caspar and Monty, both in Year 13, have been part of the Bristol Bears Academy for a number of years and will now progress to the Senior Academy.

These signings come off the back of Caspar and Monty’s exceptional league win with Bristol Bears Academy in February, their significant impact with the School’s 1st XV and Caspar’s performance with England’s U18s where he finished as the team’s top try scorer in the recent Six Nations. 

Ben Thomas, Director of Rugby at Taunton School, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and we are all hugely proud of them. Both players have demonstrated outstanding dedication, resilience, and professionalism throughout their time at Taunton School, and they fully deserve this opportunity. We look forward to following their journeys and watching their continued development in the professional game.”
