Senior Students Celebrate Sport Successes
Senior students have been celebrating a wide range of exceptional sporting achievements this term – a huge well done to everyone involved!
– Multiple students selected for England Netball Pathway
– Jack won 1st place in the 100m hurdles at the South West Athletics Championships
– Year 13 Matilda ran the Blackdown Hills Half Marathon and came in first place in her category
– Year 11 Zornitsa came second in the semi finals of the National Kayaking Championships in Bulgaria
– Year 11 Daisy won the 80cm Jumping with Style and qualified for Addington
– Laura and Zoe competed at the Pony Club National Championship Tetrathlon where Laura finished 2nd and Zoe finished 7th
– Zoe competed in the 1.10m Hickstead Elite Showjumping, representing England and coming first overall
– Year 11 Finley finished 2 under par in the SWIFT Order of Merit Strokeplay tournament in Scotland
– Lena and Nadia selected for Somerset U16 and U14 handball teams
– Year 11 Lucie won silver and bronze medals at the Karate European Championships
– Theo accepted onto DiSE programme with England Hockey
– Year 10 Holly, Year 11 Esme, Year 12 Wilbur and Jack competed at National English Schools’ Athletics Championships
– Year 11 Liberty selected for Swim Wales National Elite Transition Squad
