We were pleased to welcome EDF Hinkley Point to Taunton School in September. 

The visit was linked to Year 7’s topic of energy and electricity generation and the team explained some of the challenges faced in building a new power station which helped pupils better understand the things they had learnt in class.

The team then helped pupils model solutions using Meccano which was a fun way to end the day.
