Taunton School Golf Team Reaches National Finals
For the second year running, the Taunton School Golf team will be attending the finals of the Independent Schools Golf Association (ISGA) national event!
This year, the team went through to the Stableford competition; Stableford scoring in golf is a points based system where points are awarded for each hole, rather than just the total strokes for the round. It’s designed to be more forgiving for less experienced players and can encourage a more relaxed, enjoyable game.
Following well-earned victories against Sherborne and Shebbear in the regional qualifiers, we now look forward to finals day towards the end of June. Well done to Charlie R (Year 7), Bertie B (Year 9), Finley P (Year 10) and Thomas G (Year 11) for being a part of this team.
