Prep and Pre-Prep pupils spent Monday 24th March taking part in a range of exciting activities, including assault courses, swimming the length of the English Channel, science experiments, art projects, and group challenges in their lessons, all with the generous help of the Marines and our CCF in order to raise vital funds for Scotty’s Little Soldiers and Rock 2 Recovery.

Scotty’s Little Soldiers does fantastic work supporting children with fallen military parents.
Rock 2 Recovery provides crucial support to veterans suffering from PTSD and mental health challenges.

Every minute of activity pupils did during the day equated to a mile with the aim of getting around the world and we are delighted to share that they did enough to travel around the world 2.7 times, racking up a whopping 67,273 miles!

We received so much support from the community as well as some famous faces and we have raised more than £3,200 so far. If you would like to contribute, please visit https://www.gofundme.com/f/operation-exceptional.

Well done to everyone that took part! Plus, a huge thank you and congratulations to pupil Ava and her mum Laura for coming up with the whole initiative and putting so much hard work into planning the day and making it so brilliant – you have inspired us all.
